Assistant Project Co-op Student
Objective and Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Project Co-op Student who will provide support in coordinating activities to ensure timely accomplishment of project goals by utilizing Agile delivery methodologies. The role will report to the Scrum Master-Project Manager.
Requirements
Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs
knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum framework, including principles, practices, and delivery
Strong communication and collaboration skills working in a distributed team environment.
An inherent interest in being involved and helping others
An interest in determining the source of a problem and find an effective solution
Initiative to continually learn, adapt, and growdidate should possess excellent collaboration skills in working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Help to guide people on Scrum principles, conflict resolution, and continual improvement
Assist team members in maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures under the supervision of the Project Manager
Attending meetings and taking notes
Working closely with the team members to determine project changes
Undertaking project tasks and providing administrative support as needed
Reporting on overall delivery status to program leadership and stakeholders
Other administrative duties as required.
Must be self-motivated and work well with minimum supervision.
Skills and Qualifications
Enrolled in graduate or post graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Software Development, Data Management area.
