Compliance Manager

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Compliance Manager to lead the
    Compliance process’ team at FCBB. This engaged leader will provide Process and
    Project guidance to boost our performance.
    In addition to that, you will develop a robust business information system to drive
    strategic decisions, improve processes and ensure effective knowledge management.
    As a leader, the volunteer will also manage and coach a talented team, support its
    career development, and create an engaging work environment.
    You will join a team of dedicated professionals in a non-profit environment,
    enabling the organization to achieve its goals.
     Maintain subject matter expertise of applicable laws, regulations, and best
    practices, you will be answering different business groups compliance related
    questions, resolving issues, and will be working with the Team to develop new
    compliance related initiatives.
     Work collaboratively with all business lines to advise on applicability of
    requirements to new and existing business initiatives
     Ensure that the Foundation's policy and procedures will serve to provide
    standards consistent with the nature of the business, corporate culture and core
    values linked to ethical and compliant processes
     To ensure that all employees are working to the same direction and that it is
    correct and accessible to everyone in the company.
     Ensure preventative and detective controls are effective and applicable over time
     Use business acumen to help problem solve and be a valuable member of not
    just the compliance team, but the business teams being supported
     Partner with the business on new projects, providing guidance, insights, and
    effective challenge
     Develop and apply proper communication tools to increase volunteers'
    awareness about their contribution to effective knowledge management.
     Lead a team of volunteers providing guidance and support on daily activities as
    well as coach them to help identify development opportunities with continuous

  • Requirements

  •  University Degree required
     5+ years’ experience in a compliance, legal, accounting, analytics, or risk role
     Proven track record of working successfully with senior management in an
    impactful and influential capacity
     Creative problem-solving skills, and comfort in navigating ambiguous situations
    and complex problems
     Strong attention to detail and project management/organizational skills

     Proven ability to lead and influence through strong interpersonal skills
     Proactive, motivated, and able to multi-task
     Excellent research skills
     Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
     Passion for our mission, vision, values & teamwork
     Fluency in English and Portuguese (mandatory)
     French is an asset.
