HR Business Partner

Objective

FCBB is looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team! This dynamic role drives the people elements of transformation and change in support of the business agenda.

The professional will support leaders and managers on organizational change, communication and HR matters, as well as deployment of staffing plans, volunteers and engagement, talent and performance management, OD implementations, data analysis, training plans and learning and development agendas.

The HR Business Partner drives FCBB’s mission by working with leaders across the business to ensure a great place to work for all our volunteers. This role is both hands-on and strategic and provides expertise in the areas of volunteer’s relations.

The professional will join a team of dedicated professionals in a non-profit environment, enabling the organization to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver both strategic and tactical HR support to the leaders, including performance evaluation management, organizational design, learning and development;
  • Create, drive, and implement the FCBB people strategy (acquisition, internal growth, restructuring, leadership acceleration, and others);
  • Coach leaders and emerging talent to develop, enhance and improve their personal leadership style, management effectiveness and Talent;
  • Work with the management teams and volunteers to ensure team effectiveness and high performance; to improve work relationship, build morale, increase productivity, and retention and engagement; while, consistently drive performance management;
  • Lead the standard OD implementation and build opportunities for leadership development by supporting the creation of a high-performance environment; 
  • Partner with the business units, and influence the leadership team by leveraging the HR functions towards the business targets; and ensuring all volunteer have development plans to continuously enhance their leadership and technical capability pipelines;
  • Act as a liaison between HR and the Business Units leveraging HR capabilities to strengthen the business performance;
  • Conduct HR Project implementation as needed.
Skills and Qualifications

 Bachelor’s in a HR, psychology or related discipline;

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in operational HR matters within a complex and dynamic business context characterized by different cultures, management styles;
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) - Proficiency in Portuguese is considered an Asset;
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose organizational issues and provide solutions;

- Planning, organizational and project management skills;

- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and database management systems;

- Strong interpersonal skills – develop solid relationships in order to gain support and achieve results;

- Demonstrated experience in organizational development and change management is a plus;

- Resourceful and self-motivated with ability to work in changing environments;

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations and make decisions based on data while drawing from previous experience;

- Demonstrated experience with coaching management;

- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and collaborate with all levels of the organization and positively influence teams;

- Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
